Well, it's official from COSEWIC. The three migratory bats are considered "endangered" in Canada. Next step is to get them officially listed under SARA (the Canadian Species at Risk Act). #BatsAndWindEnergy #BatsNeedFriends

Slightly misleading for at least the Hoary Bat - because curtailment (locking the rotors in place during migration) may not halt their decline. Populations have been hit so hard up until now - a little more effort may be needed to have populations recover.
