Recently I started a campaign to spread awareness of #Berner vs. #BernieBro.
I am aware of the inflammatory nature of the term #BernieBro. That is the whole point of this effort. It is a campaign to change how we willing participants will change the meaning of the term forever.

First, let’s understand who they aren’t. They are *NOT* disillusioned former Bernie supporters who’ve “gone rogue.” We know this because real Bernie supporters en masse now support Biden like he does.

2/ I was surprised how many people I respect shared this article, considering the results of the analysis DO NOT support the headline. Perhaps people did not read the article too carefully, but I also worry when people share an article just for the headline. Read for yourself...
3/ The actual analysis in the article was done by Harvard grad student @CompSocialSci, & it's fine analysis. Here’s what they did: Evaluated the sentiment (positive to negative) of all tweets since 2015 of a random selection of followers of each of top 9 dem primary candidates.
Dear honest people who've experienced or heard/read about "toxic" #BernieBros & in good faith think they're unique to Sanders or over-represented by his base. All candidates have abusive fans but they're not documented by media. Sanders is the only 1 to condemn his but (1/?)

I just wanted to point out why I’M calling Elizabeth Warren to wrap it up.

I saw firsthand the incredible women and minorities that support Sanders when I volunteered. I've seen the army online. And I've seen them dismissed over and over in order to support a narrative started by Correct the Record, and DNC in order to diminish and degrade them. 3/7
