Make this make sense: While Buhari-@ProfOsinbajo regime continues to arrest, level trump-up charges, seize passports, initiate no-fly list, freeze bank accounts, accuse #EndSARS protestors for terrorism, they're releasing 550 new set of their 'repentant' Boko Haram terrorists. Image
For a #BETTERNIGERIA, I'm again, urging @feminist_co, other well-meaning Nigerians at home & in the Diaspora to morph the #EndSARS campaign into an Intellectual Mass Movement/Pressure Group with leadership structures scattered the world over, including across Nigeria's 774 LGAs. Image
Nothing is new under the sun. In 1908, John K. Randle, Orisadipe Obasa, Kitoye Ajasa, Akinwande Savage & Adeyemo Alakija, founded a pressure group- People's Union (PU), to fight the Colonialists' Water Rate, insisting that since Water was free from Lagos Lagoon, why the rate? Image

History of the #Olubadan stadium.
A notable Ibadan indigene was part of the founding member Late Olubadan Emmanuel Adeyemo. They use to play just normal amateur at the place you have Olubadan now without any strong construction but as times goes on. #ThursdayMotivation #Wizkid
They got Chief Obafemi Awolowo who was then the Premier of the Western region in 1957 to be like a patron to them and through that relationship, the then Western Region granted the location where Olubadan is to the association.

It was given to the football enthusiast and followers and through selfless service of the members such as late Ogunsola who was then the secretary of IDAFA, Busari Alarepe, Chief Lekan Salami, these were even the younger members then.#Olubadan #ThursdayMotivation

The world we live in
A world where you fight numerous battles,a world full of concealed battles,a world of hatred and opprobrium ,a world of political and social manipulations,a world of atrocities,a world full of sins ,a world that inspires people, gives ideas and kill them.
A world that depicts you in such a way that once you cross over some limits, there are things in the darkness that can keep your heart from ever feeling the light again.
A world of greatness and impurity.
A world full of self resilience and indictment.

LEAVE ATIKU ALONE, GO AND BEG NIGERIANS

All these people, including several high-powered delegations, "begging" Atiku Abubakar to accept this brazen subversion of the wishes of Nigerians seem not to understand that the issue has gone beyond @atiku.

#Thread
As it stands now, @atiku is a mere representation of the collective aspiration of the people for a #BetterNigeria.
These people/delegations should channel their "beggings" to the appropriate quarters. They should go and beg the millions of Nigerians @MBuhari screwed up. The dozens that were tragically killed in the mad quest to retain power.

Many of us online might not be unaffected by this, but just think about this for a minute; Nigeria's unemployment rate more than doubled between mid 2015 and now from 8.2% to 23.1% meaning over 20 million Nigerians are now unemployed. #BetterNigeria
In the past year, the economy only created 200,000 full-time jobs in a country with over 88m Nigerians living in extreme poverty. Nigerians cannot afford to continue the status quo. We deserve a #BetterNigeria our young people deserve #BetterJobs #NewNigeria is possible.
In the past months I have over 100 requests for rents by helpless parents who has been failed by their government. There are thousands of others without jobs at all. Those with jobs are not gainfully employed (meaning their pay can’t handle their bills). Brace yourselves. 😞
