ಈ ಹೊಸ ನೀತಿಯು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವು ಭಾರತದ ER&D ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆಯ ಸುಮಾರು 45% ರಷ್ಟು ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಲು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ "ಆದ್ಯತೆಯ ER&D ಗಮ್ಯಸ್ಥಾನ" ವಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ 50 ಸಾವಿರ ಹೊಸ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಲಿದೆ.
