.@ABC just aired a clip of @KamalaHarris being threatened at today's #CADemocraticConvention by a tall white guy with a man bun who got right in her face, grabbed her mic and then shoved @MoveOn's @K_JeanPierre as she tried to shield Harris.

Because she has such presence onstage, many may be unaware that Kamala Harris is petite--5'2"--and this guy was at least six feet tall.

So while this guy did not harm @KamalaHarris or @K_JeanPierre, the incident highlights the risks women candidates (maybe all candidates) face as they campaign. Heckling is time-honored protest. Physically touching a candidate is a form of violence--do not try to claim otherwise.
Someone rushed the stage at #BigIdeas and taken the mic from @KamalaHarris’ hand — he is quickly apprehended and ushered offstage before much of anything.

At the @moveon event for the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates in San Francisco (except Biden, who's resting). They're going to be discussing #BigIdeas so it's very exciting!
Sanders uses his @Moveon time to focus on one particular issue he says has received far less attention than it deserves: stopping Endless War, cutting military spending, stopping war in Yemen and avoiding war with Iran. Wants 2001 AUMF repealed:
