US Capitol Police have evacuated two buildings on the Hill, the Madison Library of Congress Building and the Cannon House Office Building, where our crew is set up.

Here’s a look at some staffers and press waiting in a hallway in the Longworth House Office Building.

Some confusion here.

Capitol Police told us the Cannon House Office Building reopened, let a few dozen people back in, then said the all clear was incorrect and told folks to leave again.

An officer also told me the Capitol Building is locked down.
Update at 2:25pm:

Quite tense on the Hill. Several police officers just raced by me in the Longworth Building heading to the Rayburn Building.

The House and Senate have recessed because protesters have gotten into the Capitol Building, per reporters there.

Here’s a look at Freedom Plaza right now in DC ahead of the #MarchForTrump in DC.

The event formally begins at noon, and also has a tally point on the national mall. Some already beginning to show up.
I am walking right now from Freedom Plaza to the White House, and came across the “Q Shaman,” a pro-Trump activist from Phoenix.

He found out from my question that SCOTUS rejected the Texas case against blue swing states, and said it shows “corruption” among higher courts.
#BlackLivesMatterPlaza, the area directly north of the White House, is partially blocked by police.

The area available to pedestrians is being guarded by local activists under the watch of MPD.

At the last event a month ago, Trump supporters tore down BLM art in the area.

VIDEO THREAD: Trump supporters tore down the "Black Lives Matter" wooden signs posted on a building tonight at the intersection of I and 16th Street, just north of the White House.
When police realized Trump supporters were tearing the wooden signs from a building, they did step in and escorted one person away from the building, but did not make any arrests.
Riot officers soon came in to police the MAGA protest and formed a line, but they parted to make an opening for the enormous (it took a couple dozen people to carry it) "TRUMP: LAW AND ORDER" flag to get through.
