What could be more Brexit than the UK’s most recent Fields Medallist taking on a Conservative Brexiter MP on #BrexitEve Twitter...?
Worth noting the writings of a certain No 10 adviser show some concern with Fields Medals, and indeed suggested that senior politicians should be taught Maths/ probability/ statistics in a special course of the type created by Tim Gowers himself....

"I will celebrate. I will allow myself a smile, I’ll allow myself that glass of champagne, I will enjoy myself. But I’ll celebrate discreetly, and I will celebrate in a way which is respectful of the genuine sorrow that others are feeling at the same time"

"The Prime Minister is a centrist. Anyone objective, looking at our manifesto and our programme for government, will see that he is willing to intervene in the economy, that he wants to be outside the EU but that he is open, liberal, tolerant and turning to the world."

It was #BrexitEve babe
Farage the drunk stank
The old man said to me, won't see another Pole
And then he sang a song
A rare old Nazi one

And dreamed about EU
The far-right got a lucky one

We need to fight for a better time
When xenophobia is dead

When Farage grabbed your hand
On a cold #BrexmasEve
He promised a golden dawn
Is what you would see
