Unbelievable parallels from 40 years ago!💥

Former European Commission President Roy Jenkins warns in a 1980 interview about Labour's new policy to leave the EU/EEC under Michael Foot. Every single word could be used to describe our Brexit shambles today!
For those who aren't aware of it, here's the background: Michael Foot, Tony Benn (and their protégé Jeremy Corbyn) eventually stood on a Brexit platform against Margaret Thatcher in 1983, and lost so badly that it gave birth to the Thatcher era.
