Hi @British_Airways I paid for a Catania (Heathrow) Glasgow service yesterday.
I've just completed the Heathrow to Glasgow leg by rail, and I'm now home.
Due to the severe weather #Heathrow disembark became prolonged, with the pilot explaining ground staff resource was stretched.
The connection flight to Glasgow was then delayed from 20:00 to 22:00
In the meantime I bought myself a meal at the cheaper end of available facilities at £20

Sitting on load of #Citibank points or #miles and planning to use them for Fuel/0.45p redemption?

Think again!

This thread will give you suggestions on the best way to maximize your Citi #creditcard points and get the best value

Primermiles, Prestige - Miles transfer Image
If you are holding Premiermiles and having more than 10,000 PM miles then you should consider getting upgrade to Prestige to convert 10k points to 18k Airmiles
Remember 100 PM=50 Airmiles
if upgraded PM to Prestige 100 PM= 45 Prestige points -> 180 Airmiles Image

A dual departure by @VirginAtlantic & @British_Airways from the westerly runways at @HeathrowAirport this morning to mark the opening of the #USA to double vaccinated travellers. But why did one #aircraft go North (the long way) and the other go West? Thread… #Airport #WePilots
The simple answer is, that if both take off at the same time and go west towards @JFKairport, they will eventually get in each other’s way. So the aircraft (@VirginAtlantic) on 27L continued straight ahead on a CPT departure & the (@British_Airways) turned north on an UMLAT.
This also allows the #aircraft to both climb to the optimum cruising level and cross the #Atlantic Ocean almost side-by-side. The more northerly track will obviously add more miles and therefore time to the journey. Whilst it was never a race, the more direct routing always wins.

It has been an unusual day today as I have reflected on 13 years of flying the #Boeing747 for #BritishAirways with a few people. I woudl ask for your indulgence as I take a short walk down memory lane from Boeing 747 No 1 to Air Force 1. #BA747 #BritishAirways747. >>>> Image
It all started in 1969 when Joe Sutter an engineer working for #Boeing launched the first #Boeing747 from Boeing Field in #Seattle. The aircraft was the first widebody airliner & over 50 years later it is still be flying. Join me visiting No1 here 👉🏻 Image
This year has seen @BoeingAirplanes announce the end of the line for the #Boeing747 as they will stop manufacturing the freighter version soon. The venerable aircraft hasn’t changed much since 1969 but it will be around for many years to come. Read here 👇🏻 theavgeeks.com/2019/02/09/rep…

Breaking: British Airways has suspended ALL flights to Cairo, Egypt for seven days "as a precaution to allow for further assessment"
British Airways are citing “security reasons” for the immediate suspension of all Cairo, Egypt flights — unclear if it is in relation to tensions in nearby Gulf.

@British_Airways First, your customer rep tells me it is not the responsibility of BA if my luggage is missing and goes ahead to make a statement which I consider RACIST by saying “perhaps it was stolen in Lagos”. Couldn’t it have been stolen in London? @CNN @bbc @lindaikeji
@British_Airways Is it not infact also possible that the bag was actually never physically loaded on the flight from London (albeit in error) but may show it was loaded on the system/paperwork?? @CNN @cnnbrk @lindaikeji @Ebuka @rihanna @theresa_may @KimKardashian @SDimokoKORKUS
