With hardly any promotion, we received 200+ applications, onboarded 50 projects, and 15 expert groups and mentors.

WORLD! J.P. Morgan has executed its 1st *LIVE* trade on public blockchain using DeFi, Tokenized Deposits & Verifiable Credentials, part of @MAS_sg Project Guardian 🙌🚀🔥mas.gov.sg/news/media-rel… Many world 1sts here, & since this is public ⛓ here’s a transparent🧵on what we did:
1st, we used @0xPolygon for the trade because we wanted to do this on #Ethereum and needed cheap gas fees for some expensive operations around Identity verification. Future phases of Guardian will explore other blockchains too given the MAS goal for open/interoperable networks.
2nd, we used @AaveAave so that we could leverage their permissioned pools concept. We deployed a modified version of Aave Arc so that we could set certain parameters such as interest rate and fx rates. You can see the lending pool we deployed here polygonscan.com/address/0x06f6…

you have to know how these things have played out in other markets as well as how intermarket relationships work within markets in general. And, you never really know how the change will play out. Especially, in new asset classes like #DigitalAssets.

It felt like most in the space chose not to acknowledge the changes & continue to pump the narrative of NGU and BTFD with little regard for what’s *actually* happening w/ the fundamental picture. Time horizon matters. All participants have different goals.

It's not just vacancies. Britain has more JOBS than Britons to do them. That's why we need millions of migrants. It really is that simple. Why else would the government offer 3 million Hong Kong citizens the right to come to the UK? Leave voters were misled... big time.
Our country has an ageing population, and a low birth rate. So, the truth is that we have to import young people and skilled (and many unskilled) people to do the jobs that we don’t have enough Britons to fill. The government, of course, knows this only too well.
