Blake and Yang killing Adam is important to me and possibly other abuse survivors, as it symbolizes being able to overcome your abuser so you can finally start to heal, whether its forgiving them or blocking them from your life.

He also just really deserved it.

Like no I don't condone murder, but 1. Symbolism
2. Adam isn't a real person
3. Death was the only way he was going to stop stalking Blake
ALSO Adam's death was fantastic because he didn't get a speech, no special last words, just "oh" as he realizes that he's lost. His ego had gotten so inflated that it was nice to have just that last bit of deflation before he's gone.

And if that's not enough here's the *other* writer Kerry confirming how it was premeditated. The reason why Blake hesitates is because she didn't want to kill Adam but felt she had to. They even ran towards him first after he said he made his choice. @Vicente8101
Of course she was just following the example of Yang, who definitely was more bloodthirsty for Adam than Blake but still. Image

I'm in a romantic mood today so I want to gush about some of the reasons why I love #Bumbleby so much. They're just... so good for each other and there are so many reasons why so here's a thread of some of them.

#RWBY
1. MUTUAL RESPECT

Both Blake and Yang recognise each other's positive qualities and encourage each other. They see beneath the surface, with Yang pointing out Blake's bravery when Blake herself doubted it and Blake admiring Yang's inner strength, not only her physical strength.
2. TRUST

Both Blake and Yang are put in positions which remind them of their past trauma (in Blake's case Adam's abuse and in Yang's case Raven's abandonment) but they're able to see how the situations are completely different and trust each other despite those issues.
