Mohamed Abdullah was found by his brother, Hassan Abdullah, in a boarding house on #ButeStreet, #Cardiff, #Wales during the 1919 race riots. He died from fatal blows to the head on 13th June 1919. 1/

The verdict of the jury was "Haemorrhage and concussion due to injuries received by some person or persons unknown", ie., he was hit, received a concussion, experienced a haemorrhage and died from his injuries.

He was 21 years old.

1. Here's what's happened on the first day of the #CardiffRaceRiots:

Wednesday 11th June 1919 was the hottest day of the year☀️. At 10pm 🕙 a group of people in vehicle on #EastCanalWharf near #CustomHouseStreet.
2. The vehicle had a number of people in there. There were men of colour and their white wives. It got a considerable amount of attention from a group of white men on the street when it reached Cahanal Parade Bridge. A police constable arrived at the scene

3. And then, another break of coloured men and their wives arrived in #Cardiff Central. Sometime during this commotion, some of the people exited the vehicles on #CanalParadeBridge in #CardiffCentral to the extremely hostile crowd.
