La edición de 2020 de este índice elaborado por @ASCOA y @Control_Risks mide la capacidad que tienen los países de la región de prevenir, detectar y sancionar casos de corrupción, a través de 14 variables.

En 2020, México ocupó la posición número ocho de 15 países evaluados.
⚠️ Las principales debilidades encontradas son:

🔸Falta de autonomía de las dependencias encargadas de combatir la corrupción.

🔸Carencia de transparencia de los procesos legislativos.

🔸Falta de independencia y los bajos recursos con los que cuentan las fiscalías.
