My 1st symptoms of #COVID were 7 weeks ago tomorrow.

Yesterday I went for an #ECG b/c I'm having heart symptoms that weren't there before #COVID19.

I'm also having issues with my blood sugar which weren't there before #Covid_19

The technician said he's doing several ECG's ++
daily on people who are having heart complications due to #COVID19.

I'm on leave from my job. And now I'm in need of health care I wasn't before. I'm scared of what is happening inside my body and brain.

@TimHoustonNS got rid of all the means that protected the #NovaScotia ++
population. Our health care and workers are crumbling under the weight of it all.

Businesses are closing. Housing is a mess. The climate is in shambles.

What are we going to do?

Is 'modified self-isolation' a key reason we now have 1,464 active cases in Nova Scotia?

Rotational workers: no longer have a modified self-isolation; they must quarantine for an entire 14 days away from other people in their households.

Here's @TwitCoast editor Kyle Shaw with more on the April 6 easing of restrictions.

NOTE: We had 6 new cases that day.

#covid19NS #nshealth…
KYLE SHAW: A rising activity level feels hard to reconcile with relaxing public health restrictions, especially when we don't know if our vaccination program is going remarkably well or straight-up sucking.

#Covid-19 endures for days on plastic or metal but disintegrates soon after landing on #copper surfaces, thanks to copper's anti-microbial properties.

The 1st recorded use of #copper as an infection-killing agent comes from Smith's Papyrus, the oldest-known medical document in history. The information therein has been ascribed to an Egyptian doctor circa 1700 B.C. but is based on information that dates back as far as 3200 B.C. Image
Egyptians designated the ankh symbol, representing eternal life, to denote copper in hieroglyphs.

As far back as 1,600 B.C., the Chinese used copper coins as medication to treat heart and stomach pain as well as bladder diseases.

Yet, the 200 employees who worked there had all been spared from cholera outbreaks that hit the city in 1832, 1849, and 1852.

When Burq learned that 400-500 #copper workers on the same street had also mysteriously dodged cholera, he concluded that something about their professions—and copper—had made them immune to the highly infectious disease.
