If you took me off ALL opioids, I (like most #painpatients) would go through ugly opioid #withdrawals (and make sure to poop/puke on YOU for causing them)! 😂

Update: My doctor lowered my pain meds AGAIN last month KNOWING how poorly I am tolerating this forced wean. Despite being forced off my meds they made me see the "#addiction doctor" to assess my "risk" of addiction & that appt was yesterday.
During that visit he actually said "I need to just get used to the #pain & I'll be fine", he said " everyone's going this #opioid free route & you have to deal with it" & a few other absurd things. I was literally in tears the entire appointment...
He asked if I wanted to "see someone & possibly get meds" because I was in tears from pain, feeling afraid, unheard & ignored, to which I explained that this is NOT an emotional or mental issue that it's purely a horrific pain & suffering issue... I politely declined the help.
What if I decided to file a lawsuit (against ??) for the RIGHT to choose to die w/ dignity BECAUSE I am being DENIED the RIGHT to treat my severe intractable pain w/ #pain meds? Hang w/ me for a sec.. #ipp #cpps 
I DON'T want to die! I also DON'T want to be forced to live a life of relentless suffering w/o pain meds. Would a #HumanRightsLawsuit help fight for our rights for adequate pain control? #PainManagement

I WISH that I had good news to share with you all but sadly I don't. The #palliativecare doctor said he only treats end of life or #cancer pain & I am once again thrown back in the water like nasty stinky unwanted chum.
He said that I shouldn't be removed off Rx #opioids & in his opinion the the forced wean is too aggressive. I happened to have a horrible #crps attack so he got to literally see what that looks like. It's not pretty.
WHY are patients forced to go through this much shit in order to get basic care? I 100% feel discriminated against & it isn't ok. He did say that he was going to call my doctor tomorrow & speak to them directly to see if he can convince them to keep me on or adjust my meds.
@Shasta_Rayne 1/Bottom line-we KNOW that the '#opioidcrisis' wasn't caused by MDs treating pain. We KNOW that it's primarily younger, often males, ODing on street drugs while #CPPs aren't ODing & are often older. We KNOW the PDMP is a drag net & DEA/LE involvement is why MDs are afraid to RX.
@Shasta_Rayne 2/We KNOW state Standards of Care were drafted around CDC 'guideline' with DEA scrutiny as their backdrop for policy making. We listened in as they changed pain tx standards with that in mind.

@Shasta_Rayne 3/We KNOW HHS & the NPS has created a tragic mess for pain patients even though this OD issue was NEVER REALLY ABOUT PRESCRIBING; and we know why.

All these shows are overly-dramatic (soap operas?), taking once-in-a-lifetime cases or insane accidents and pretending stuff like that happens nonstop. It doesn’t.
