Gerade stellt EU-Innenkommissarin @YlvaJohansson den Mitgliedern des Europäischen Parlaments im LIBE-Ausschuss die #CSAR-Verordnung vor, auch bekannt als #Chatkontrolle. Der Vorschlag würde Kinder nicht schützen aber private Kommunikation scannen und öffentliche Diskurse filtern.
@YlvaJohansson Im Namen des Kinderschutzes will die EU-Kommission die privaten Nachrichten der Menschen durch eine automatisierte KI überwachen. Das gefährliche #ClientSideScanning würde #Verschlüsselung untergraben und Menschen den Zugang zu sicheren und privaten Online-Diensten verwehren.
Das Recht auf Privatsphäre ist unerlässlich für demokratische Gesellschaften. Sonst gibt es keine Geschäftsgeheimnisse, ärztliche Schweigepflicht, Anwältinnengeheimnis, journalistischen Quellenschutz, Seelsorge, gewerkschaftliche Aktivitäten, Start-Ups oder politischen Protest.
