πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ It should be pretty easy to prove the American-registered ISR aircraft conducting surveillance over Ottawa in late January and early February was not related to the convoy. A course plan? Any documentation re: booking the training?

#N330TT appears out of nowhere over Metcalf at 3000ft, lands at #YOW; it made it that far without being detected by open source flight trackers. That's suspicious; private aircraft can't do that.
We know now it's a spook plane, not just private.

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ Canadians need to spend more time discussing American aircraft flying surveillance patterns over #Ottawa; Canada's Capital city.
β€’ Who are they?
β€’ Who do they work for?
β€’ What are they collecting?
β€’ How long do they keep our data?
β€’ How do they protect our data?
#N330TT
The aircraft of interest is this one, but these pictures were taken before it was modified with intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) equipment.

We can track them using the #ADSBexchange network of transponder receivers, despite their request to the FAA that nobody track their movements.

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸš”πŸ›©οΈ With the Ontario Provincial Police #OPP circling the anti-vax rally today, I figured I should make a thread about what we can tease out of the behaviour of their surveillance Cessna, and if any of that can be applied to other aircraft in the fleet. 🧡
First, consult the Canadian Civil Aircraft Register (CCAR), and search using the name the OPP has their aircraft registered under:

"Province Of Ontario, Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services"

Now you have a list of all their aircraft. πŸ‘
wwwapps.tc.gc.ca/Saf-Sec-Sur/2/…
Pop that in a spreadsheet for later, and use the registration numbers to hand-roll a search for the aircraft using #ADSBexchange.

πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ As part of today's #NORAD exercise, the part of the tanker will be played by #RCAF CC-150T 15004, now taxiing at #CYOW, showing the game is afoot.

iirc they used a Learjet as the unknown potentially hostile aircraft to intercept last time...

It was a Top Aces jet last year(?), so I'd guess this exercise is using the same contract vehicle.

Do I already have a list of Top Aces planes tho...

Well well, we have a gaggle of Top Aces fighters taking off from Bagotville. CHETA callsigns.
