I think it's always the inherent lack of knowledge--or the belief that people will just go along with what they say without question bc they "quote" the constitution, so they must be right--that pisses me off the most.

Cuz there are people out there like me who go, hey, wait, that's not right. States can't just claim any group of people coming across the border is an invasion and decide to go to war with them bc of Article 1 Section 10.

A fifth migrant child has died in US custody since December. Another 16yr old boy, also from Guatemala. He was found unresponsive this morning during a welfare check at a Border Control station in Weslaco, TX.

The child was still in CBP custody after a week, against the federal law requiring minors be sent to HHS within 72hrs of determining they are unaccompanied. There is no indication in this CBP statement about WHY they broke the law, but they do say he was "due for placement."
