SM can rile us up because when something is untrue, or immoral, or hurtful we feel an obligation to right the wrong. Remember that some are simply here to project their opinion/speak at, not listen to. Healthy dialogue requires listening, and that’s not a given on social media.

1/TYT, in their unending crusade 2 tear dwn Buttigieg, has shown again they r willing 2 misrepresent facts & mischaracterize events 2 meet their ends. This vid is latest example & while a lot 2 unpack, I’m going to focus on Cenk’s characterization of PD Chief demotion & the facts
2/Paraphrasing Cenk @ 4:30: “Black police chief (Boykins). Pete fired him. Why? There were tapes showing cops saying racist things. The police chief and other person revealed that information & it was inconvenient for Pete & SB so he was fired.” Lets break this down:
3/In court docs, officers - and Boykins - claim recordings began in 2010. Officers claim it was to monitor them for “loyalty.” These recordings allegedly continued for *two years* before Pete became Mayor.
So, let me tell you a story from 2013. Unfortunately this has nothing to do with #ChangeTheChannel , but ties more on how people tended to neglect ERod or even judge him after he joined CA.
Back when I was starting as ERod’ titlecard artist, the Deviantart group wanted to assemble an artist project of CA producers in tarot cards. I got in to make the @ShadowTodd card here: fav.me/d4hfj01 and then asked why Erod wasn’t on the list
After I asked twice pointing out that other producers had 2 cards, one of them told me bluntly that others thought negatively of ERod, but nobody gave me a good reason why. This made me upset because I got to know him after being hired and nothing fits to I was told

My family has 2 informal ‘saints’. My grandfather, who died when my mom and siblings were kids, and my cousin Michael, who took his own life in 2004. They are talked about, rememberd; their presence is always with us.
Suicide was conceptual for me until Michael died. He was 10 years my senior and played the drums…when I was little, back in the 80’s, I thought he was a rock star. His death had a profound effect on everyone.
