Was any “internal research” conducted into why rape victims don’t go to the police? What action have the police actually taken in relation to Higgins? Has the man been interviewed or charged? Is he even still in Australia? The public are currently in the dark on these questions.

Porter is saying the victim’s death has been politicised, and that nothing she said happened did happen. He is framing himself as the victim of a ‘whispering campaign’. He says ‘nothing every happened’. He’s blaming politics and media. I don’t believe him. You? #ChristianPorter
He’s now comparing himself to Shorten and blaming media for treating him differently. He is the one politicising this. Nothing like Shorten as NSW police gave up investigation when victim died. Shorten’s allegation was investigated and found no case to answer for.
Porter is saying it was all rumours that he had offended against someone decades ago. He’s still framing himself as the victim.
