Recap: The church is the ground and pillar of truth. As believers, we make up the church hence there are certain traits and conducts required of us. Last week we considered Simplicity and Sincerity. Today, we look further to learn other traits we must possess as true believers.
SUBMISSION (John3:8): A believer should be workable and teachable not having a rigid mind. If indeed Jesus is your LORD, you should learn to say YES to Him at all times.

The system of the world tells us that "seeing is believing". However, the system of the kingdom says otherwise.
In the Kingdom, our believe can bring what is non-existent into existence.

In John 20:29, Jesus stated that blessed are those who do not see but believe.

Recap: In the parable of the sower, the fruits produced was dependent on the kind of ground the seeds fell and this is symbolic of the states of our heart. God looks beyond the surface and always considers the state of our hearts.
Today, we begin to consider what is essential for fruitfulness ( John 15:16). God intends that we bring forth fruit that will remain. It is His utmost plan that the righteous man brings forth fruit even in old age (Psalm 92).

Twitter (no, Social Media) will convince you to build aggression, even over the matters you know so little about. Let me explain why this is problematic.

The world needs solution providers. The energy you could have spent formulating quality solutions has been wasted grumbling about the status quo, and hating on authority figures for no reason other than what the rumor peddlers would have you believe.

Even though Pharoah started out in Joseph's story as the 'bad guy', he turns out to be Joseph's point of elevation. Because Joseph had a ready solution for his (Pharoah's) biggest headache, at the right time.

Are you getting my drift yet?

Dear Church, with the new CDC guidelines, there is absolutely a way to do church online/by extension in a way that not only glorifies God but allows people to remain in community in a way that is theologically healthy. #Onlinechurch #churchonline #ChurchAtHome @ZonderAcademic
The earliest Christians didn't always get to meet together; they had their own trials preventing the routine we have today. This is why Ignatius of Antioch notes that the church is where the shepherd is. Polycarp reminded his church that we are aliens who transcend our places.
Likewise, the challenges of Irenaeus' day caused him to describe the church as solely a calling of the Holy Spirit, not building/location. Tertullian and Origen both emphasize that the church happens when the people of God gather to worship, a few here and there is still church.
