CAA bill pass பண்ண பிறகு திரிபுராவில் போராட்டம் துவங்கியதும் அவ்வூர் தலைவர்களை தில்லி அழைத்துள்ளார் அமித்ஷா... they demanded the same.. ILP..

Everyone of us tweeting #IndiaSupportsCAB after passage of #CitizenshipAmmendmentBill2019 in #RajyaSabha need to read this thread on Dr SP Mookerjee. This speech is immortal and was delivered whn he resigned from Nehru cabinet protesting treatment of non Muslim minorities in Pak
19th April 1950: Dr SP Mookerjee- tallest leader of Indian Right raised this issue of then Indian govt’s subservient or accommodating attitude towards Pak, sacrificing interests of Indic minorities in that country and this was the day when he resigned fm Nehru cabinet in protest
"At the time of freedom, i supported partition of Bengal thinking that it will save whole Bengal n Assam falling into Pakistan. I gave that assurance & joined cabinet-but hv failed to keep my promise given to Hindus even after 2.5 yrs n hv no moral right”

Is India denying anyone citizenship?
No!

Is India handing out citizenships randomly?
No!

All #CitizenshipAmendmentBill2019 aims to do is to make it easier for religiously persecuted minorities to get Indian citizenship.

A Thread on demystifying #CitizenshipAmendmentBill

(1/n)
Well, it's straightforward. We have three neighbours two on west, one on east.

1. Pakistan
2. Afghanistan (yes, neighbour. if you consider POK as part of India, we share borders)
3. Bangladesh

We have six Faiths - Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jains, Parsi, & Christians
Now, these three countries have religion of state - Islam. (Not kidding, It's written in article 2 of their constitutions)

So, the condition of followers of these six faihs is really bad.

So bad, that percentage of Hindus in Pak and Bangladesh has reduced from two digits to one

Bangladesh had 22% of Hindu population in 1951. In 1961-18.5%.
In 1981 -12%, in 1991-10%, in 2001 reduced to 9%.. why is it on a constant decline.. where would they take shelter if not in India?

Atrocities on Hindus of #Bangladesh 👇🏼
Correction, it was *29.7% during partition.
Can the fake liberals, leftists & anti Hindus answer the cause of decline of Hindu population in #Bangladesh ??
Atrocities on Hindus of BD numbered to be 3282 in 2016- 2018, 2017,
806 incidents occurred in 2018, 1008 in 2017 & 1471 in 2016!

A #thread on why #CitizenshipAmendmentBill is the need of the hour.

This Bill seeks to amend the Constitution of India & Indian Citizenship Act, 1955, to provide religiously persecuted refugees from minority communities of Af-Pak-Ban region, Indian Citizenship.
Let us examine the validity of a few objections against the said Bill :

1. Is this Bill against the secular character of Indian Constitution as it grants citizenship only to non Muslims, thus discriminating on the basis of religion?
We need to understand that the yardstick in this Bill for granting citizenship is not religion but minorities facing persecution on the basis of religion.

1.Those who oppose d #CitizenshipAmendmentBill r latching on to d rights of Indian citizens of d North East to preserve d indigenous identity of their States, while a few months ago d NRC was painted as a xenophobic exercise wen it was meant to protect d identity of d North East.
2. Apparently, according to these geniuses, the North East has the right to protect its identity against demographic inversion (which I agree with), but the rest of the India enjoys no such right because *that* would be xenophobic. Very convenient.
3. The NRC and #CitizenshipAmendmentBill have thoroughly exposed the utter hypocrisy of this Janusian fork-tongued creature called "Indian secularism" like never before. The agenda of depriving Indic communities of their sole natural homeland is on stark public display.

@krithikasivasw @rahulkanwal Nothing Wrong, It only welcomes - Indian religions, originated in Greater India n partly of Indo-European origins, they tend to share a number of key concepts, such as dharma, karma, reincarnation among others. The main Indian religions are Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism and Sikhism
@krithikasivasw @rahulkanwal It excludes Non Indian Religions and just not muslims. It excludes Middle Eastern religions: Abrahamic religions these consist mainly of Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and the Bahá'í Faith. They are named for the patriarch Abraham, and are unified by the practice of monotheism.
@krithikasivasw @rahulkanwal Also correctly excludes -
Iranian religions, partly of Indo-European origins, include Zoroastrianism, Yazdânism, Uatsdin, Yarsanism and historical traditions of Gnosticism. #CitizenshipAmendmentBill

If the govt really wants to help persecuted minorities of neighbouring countries, then why have 62,000 Tamil refugees from #SriLanka, who are refugee camps in TN, been left out of the #CitizenshipAmendmentBill? They are mostly Hindus and Christians.
What about the 100,000 Tibetans, also living in India? Most of them are Buddhists.

This outrage is not going to work. The bill will be passed. The root problem of Assam is still not being recognised by the agitators because most are driven by a agenda and see some potential is consolidating a seat for themselves in the future. #citizenshipamendmentbill
The literate youth of assam has not much concern for their land. Most are intoxicated by the beautiful weather or by the beautiful women or by the beautiful natural beauty of assam. They soon leave assam thinking they'd be better off being servants outside their motherland.
Once they secure a job they believe their life is complete. Their social debt, they believe, has been paid. They believe now that they earn they are successful. Their social debt do not include examining the identity crisis of their culture.

Assam erupts in rage over #CitizenshipAmendmentBill. BJP offices are being attacked. Posters of Narendra Modi and Sarbananda Sonowal have been torn and their effigies burnt. Police have lathicharged, fired tear gas and rubber bullets. Slogans of "BJP go back" are being raised.
Looking at people through the prism of Hindutva is what will prove to be BJP's undoing, as the situation in Assam has shown right now. Religion can never be a binding factor. If you didn't learn that from Pakistan breaking into two countries, you will never get it. #BharatBandh
Did you know that there have been many instances of students from colleges dropping out and joining ULFA just because of this #CitizenshipAmendmentBill? Did you know how long it took to end the insurgency there? And do you realise that what was dead is being resurrected now?
