The attempt to pass the Nationality & Borders Bill into legislation is a calculated move to ensure that certain people, despite having been born & raised in Britain, remain migrants. It strips them of the rights they were born with & leaves them in a constant state of instability
It attacks their levels of belonging in our communities and undermines their safety. It creates a second class of citizens, whose status is conditional on behaving in a way deemed to be 'in the public interest'.
