Have you written your letter of support for Bernie Sanders? I'll be posting mine soon! Maybe they will publish one of ours! #ShareTheBern amp.usatoday.com/amp/3403474002…
Senator Bernie Sanders stands out among all the Parties! He has consistently been on the People's side. Despite being cheated in 2016, he exhibits strong leadership and a conviction to help our Country become healthy, environmentally secure, and financially stable. (1, continued)
His vision for the United States is shared by hard working Americans. He has seen/worked around the Machine, he stands strong against the Man in Office, and most importantly... He listens to us. (2, end)

@tonetalks and @BreakingBrown, I've read your points about a #BlackAgenda and to be honest, I disagree with money of the points. As an #ADOS myself, there's a lot to benefit personally and for my family. I do have issues with how you dismiss a general progressive agenda.
I'm going to go step by step so there is no confusion or emnity. First, let me start by posting the link to the black agenda ados101.com/black-agenda. In the following tweets, I'm going to go step by step through them and how they relate to a progressive agenda in general
First plank: A specific affirmative action program for #ADOS. I have no arguments there as we know affirmative action helped white women more than anyone. We do need specific help in educational and job opportunities.

1) The draft House rules on “PAYGO” & a super majority on taxes are designed to set up roadblocks against:
- #MedicareForAll
- #GreenNewDeal
- #CollegeForAll
- Universal Childcare
- Paid Family and Medical Leave
- A Job Guarantee
- #HousingForAll
nymag.com/intelligencer/…
2) There’s nothing “progressive” about these rules & they should be scrapped. If PAYGO and super majority tax rules were in place in the House in the 1930s and the 1960s, it would have made it nearly impossible to pass FDR’s New Deal and Medicare. cbpp.org/federal-budget…
3) They should be replaced with a rule requiring a three-fifths majority vote on any bill to cut Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid. That would be progressive.

Third Way, a group of self-described "moderate Democrats," is stoking fears that the progressive movement will hurt our chances at winning the mid-term and presidential elections. (1/4) nbcnews.com/politics/elect…
Third Way, which consists of many Wall Street bankers and real estate developers, accuses progressives of wanting to end capitalism, while the "moderate Dems" merely want to mend it. This is a gross mischaracterization of the progressive movement. (2/4)
It's the corporate & financial interests who don't want change, while progressives are talking about what Millennials and Working Families want (i.e., #MedicareforAll, #CollegeforAll, #JobGuarantee, #UBI, 100% #RenewableEnergy)...(3/4)
