1/ Eurolectric, the Association of European incumbent energy firms, provides a distorted description of the Spanish proposal to reform electricity markets. Difficult to discuss false claims. They must have read another document… 
2/ One would expect incumbents to reject a proposal that weakens their market power to achieve competitive electricity prices for consumers. Still, corporate interests should be defended with sound arguments, not distortions. The much-needed debate is not possible otherwise.

In a nutshell, #SCOTUS back in 1905 used bad logic, relied on old science & made ridiculous assumption that doctors are infallible to give govt green light to force healthy Americans to risk their lives with a pharmaceutical product based on “common belief” rather than fact

Piously waving the “greater good” flag, #SCOTUS in Jacobson v Massachusetts threw civil liberties out the door creating the legal club used today to take away your right to freedom of thought, conscience & religion when making vaccine decisions for yourself or your children

I’ve been screened numerous times when I’ve been called for #JuryDuty or when I’ve had to go to the local #SocialSecurity office. One time I had a 4 inch nail scissors in my pocketbook when I went..

In the @TEDTalks, I argued that the simplest way to safeguard the future 'You' was by strengthening the future 'Us' in three dimensions: the 'Us' of #relationship, the 'Us' of #identity and the 'Us' of #responsibility. Never has this seemed more true than in today's world.
I also offered a suggestion of how this could be done. Do a search and replace operation on the text of your mind and wherever you encounter the word "self," substitute the word "other."
I suppose we can safely say that now #TheFrighteners have been so successfully and publicly put on a certain sector their combined angst will spew a diarrhoea of spin & warp whilst trying to use THAT VERY THING to generate $£Es Some with automated AdTech software already bought.
2/ Some bought by gormless companies, by mistake, some in full knowledge or partial knowledge of what it could do. It will be interesting as time goes on to see who apparently DIDN'T CARE about the likely instigation of its more negative 'dark' capabilities looking to 'side-step'
3/ or even 'wrong-foot' Irish & EU regulation standards, & possibly law. This too is a kind of #climatechange & #ClimateAction in itself, a would be mammoth untouchable iceberg of 'dominion' & 'control' being melted out into an ocean of citizens' scrutiny & advancement for change
