Mr. Gestetner. My 91 year old mother had a stroke June 20th.  After recovery time in the hospital and at home we moved her into an assisted living facility in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina. Due to COVID she could have no visitors except a porch

Someone I know tells me that his wife is in hospital with Coronavirus for a few weeks. Birth of a child was done via c-section. He has not seen his wife in person since she was admitted nor has he seen the newborn. @NYGovCuomo, hospitals are ignoring your EOs. cc @melissadderosa
His wife uses hearing aids. The family submitted a doc from a doctor saying that for her health it is good if she has a companion; inline with the April 10 order from @HealthNYGov. No response. @RichAzzopardi, there is no reporting/enforcement when hospitals ignore the rules!
Meanwhile, the family of a 61 year old at @ORMC has gotten the end of life call but the hosptial refuses to let any family in despite the rules from @HealthNYGov (see attached).
