Without question, unceasing #prayer is the most difficult thing in the world - especially if we consider our faintheartedness - and how swiftly our attention flees during the saying of one Hail Mary & if we remember the great weariness brought on by prolonged prayer ...
... and how our head hurts praying for a long time & how we cannot do as much as we would like.
In light of these & similar hardships, it is clear that unceasing prayer is akin to death & the most impossible advice that could be given to us.

If we consider, however, that #Scripture addresses those who do all things in Him who comforts them, meaning in #God, then we ought not to say that is is difficult, for the one who offers the advice, #Christ, will provide all the needed strength.

By far the best book I have read in a long long time.
One can simply begin from any page,for each note makes so much sense that we get lost in them , sometimes chuckling & often amazed .

The book is enriched with life lessons . Most profound of all for me being ,
#Life is simple despite all its hardships and complexities .
For the purpose of life is to live ....
Now, how we choose to live our life makes it simple or complicated.

Do we chase #happiness by climbing infinite mountains in the quest for fame & wealth or do we savour the goodness in the little things that often come our way but go unnoticed and unappreciated by us ?
For ultimately , " It is the little things that matter the most ".

Moral of story:
Janganlah merasa paling suci dan benar sendiri. Kebajikan bukanlah jubah yang engkau kenakan atau gelar yang engkau terima untuk dipamerkan ke orang lain.

Renungan; PERTAPA & PELACUR
Seorang pertapa tinggal di asrama, tepat didpn-nya itu ada rumah bordil & tinggal seorang pelacur.
Stiap hari saat si pertapa mau meditasi, dia melihat & merenungkan perbuatan memalukan yg berlangsung di kamar si pelacur itu dg rasa kebencian.
Seorang pertapa tinggal di asrama, tepat didpn-nya itu ada rumah bordil & tinggal seorang pelacur.
Stiap hari saat si pertapa mau meditasi, dia melihat & merenungkan perbuatan memalukan yg berlangsung di kamar si pelacur itu dg rasa kebencian.
Sementara si pelacur sendiri setiap hari melihat praktek meditasi sang pertapa. Dia berpikir betapa indahnya hidup sang pertapa yang demikian suci. Namun dia tidak bisa berbuat apa-apa karena mempercayai kehidupan jadi pelacur adalah suratan nasibnya.
