Wer für #mjam nicht jeden Sonntag radelt, sondern nur 1x frei nimmt/ krank ist rutscht im Ranking ab. Auch wer 1x zu spät kommt, hat für 4 Wochen einen Strafpunkt. Wer nicht absolut jede Schicht annimmt auch. Übrig bleiben dann aber nur noch Dienste für die es kaum Geld gibt.
Bezahlt werden fast alle FahrerInnen bei #Mjam nämlich nicht nach ihrer Arbeitszeit, sondern nach den Zustellungen - da macht es einen riesigen Unterschied, ob in einer Stunden 1,2 /3 Zustellungen gemacht werden können! Außerdem sind die meisten Schichten nur 1h+45Minuten lang.

He wasn't alone. There were 18 others with him.
When I called the number that gave them misleading information, a volunteer from an NGO in MP picked up. He said they're working with MP state govt. They ensure workers get on the train, based on the info they get from MP govt

Officials say the government wants to create a database of such workers to ascertain whether a relief package could be announced for the most affected segment of the workforce due to the national lockdown to contain the spread of #Covid19.
The database will include details on whether the migrant workers have bank accounts or Jan Dhan accounts, whether the workers get benefits of free gas cylinders for cooking under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, and their Aadhaar numbers.

There was an evident coordination between the govts in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh & at the Centre. Delhi's state-owned buses took the migrant workers to the Anand Vihar bus station so that they do not have to walk till there. Delhi Police ensured people take the buses and not walk.
I urge chief minister @capt_amarinder to bring changes in the #wheat procurement process so that farmers go to ‘mandis’ in batches besides taking urgent steps to restore the food supply chain in Punjab to save lakhs of poor from the pangs of hunger. /1

In view of the #CoronavirusPandemic the State govt should come up with solutions to ensure the safety of farmers during the upcoming wheat procurement season. #Farmers must be provided with gunny bags to store the wheat in their premises. /2

There is an extreme shortage of both labour as well as combine harvesters, many of which are stranded outside Punjab. The State should immediately announce a subsidy of Rs 50 per quintal to enable farmers to cope up with huge costs entailed in getting their crop harvested. /3
No matter how great a "deal" a company is offering right now, if they're advertising it, they're profiting from it. And that means they are putting the people who make their business possible at risk, knowingly, for money.
