If you are in Home Quarantine check oxygen after walking for 5 mins , if oxygen after walking falls less than 94 % , it means in next 24 to 48 hours it will fall at Rest . This will give you time to arrange an Hospital bed and reach before its bad.

#Plasmatherapy has been tried in SARS, H1N1 and EBOLA outbreaks in past as well. The plasma of patients that have recovered is called convalescent ( kan- val-ascent) plasma and is rich in antibodies (proteins that are produced by human body against infectious or foreign agent)
These antibodies neutralise the virus and help in recovery of critically ill by reducing the viral load. Convalescent plasma ( CP) has mainly been used as a last resort in critical cases. In current epidemic also was used in China for a small no of cases and been found helpful.
Issues with this treatment are:
1. It has not yet been tried on a large scale in COVID19.
2. Patients who recover from coronavirus infection must volunteer to donate blood.
3. Transfusions carry risk of reaction called transfusion reactions, some of which can be life threatening.

When we go the other way, have patients consistently in positive balance, they do worse.
Over and over we are seeing people present in advanced AKI, with creatinines of 6, 8, 17 with no previous CKD. They show up with Cr of 8 and potassium of 7, and are like check-mate time for dialysis. I have never started so many people on dialysis on the day of admission.
