I’ve told the story many times of catching COVID at 34 weeks pregnant, despite many precautions and vaccines. Probably from my FIL (in town to care for older child, given impending birth) who probably got it at the library getting books for said older child … 2/
I was infected & bedridden within a few days. I had no outward symptoms that anything was wrong for baby. But I had a very thorough doctor, and she discovered that my placenta wasn’t working properly. This is organ failure. That’s what that is. This is a severe outcome of C19..3/

Majority of transmission is by those with ZERO symptoms.
Risk assessment? Do asbestos crews do those? Coal miners? BSL3 lab workers?

They have air quality meters on them that generally read between 95-100 (100 being best).
Today, w windows closed, HVAC on, the readings were around 53. 😱 Never saw them so low. Apt smelled like 💨.
NO air purifiers left in my neighborhood stores.

He advised me to go to the hardware store (who still had box fans & filters!) and “DIY” a few extra air purifiers.
We FaceTimed in the store so he could help me choose the right parts.

In Irland gibt es nun einen „Code of Practice“ für die Luftqualität in Innenräumen (IAQ). Dieser Kodex ist für alle Arbeitsstätten relevant. Arbeitgeber sollten diesen Kodex nutzen, um Strategien zu entwickeln, Risikobewertungen durchzuführen…
