Have you ever heard of a Reality Index?
Neither have I until about a week ago.

Today I'm going to dive into an AI network that is combining paradigms of AI, autonomous robotics, and Blockchain, to prompt realities into existence.

NOT reusing #metadata has costs in money, time and knock-on effects - rekeying of metadata is essentially unnecessary duplication of effort across sectors, institutions and individuals! #NISOPlus23

1/5 As many of you here watch family, friends, associates and colleagues living their best lives out there, as #COVID19 surges, please know that many ARE NOT okay.

"PsychoanalystĀ Judith Alpert theorizes that our culture is terrified of death, illness, and vulnerability."
2/5 "Thus, ā€œ[t]hose who have contact with the #chronically #ill . . . do not want to be #reminded of #vulnerability and #ultimate #demise. In turn, the demand placed on the chronically ill is to #control, #hide, and #overcome the #chronic #illness.ā€ (Alpert, 2012)."
3/5 Many of those who appear to be living their best lives are faking wellness to fit in.

šŸ·ļø Naming is so important and so cumbersome in programming as Phil Karlton coined in his famous cite:

"There are only two hard things in Computer Science: cache invalidation and naming things."

A thread šŸ§µšŸ‘‡
šŸ“From the design phase.
Having a common name glossary is the central point in methodologies like #DDD.
But even if you donĀ“t follow it, you will appreciate having a #ubiquitous language to communicate with all the people involved.
šŸš§ In the architect's hands naming is the core of its work.
Creating #patterns is given a name to proven solutions. Using them is using those names.
Dividing codebases and defining #layers and #tiers forces you to give them a name.

Itā€™s cute when I say modeling the local media ecosystem & folks think 3DšŸ˜³. No, systems modeling. Iā€™m talking pinpoints AND the whole narrative system. Making journalism visible & accountable for geographic gaps & harms. mediadeserts.com Modeling local šŸ‘‡šŸ¾ since b4 the www.
Thanks for taking my question @ShorensteinCtr about #mediadeserts & how the local journalism sustainability may reinforce legacy media & as @mitrakalita reinforced, some media innovation and entrepreneurship *might* be funded? Look to the larger system in #mediadeserts. #create
Nine criteria: Ownership, corrections policy, super basic criteria...Gordon Crovitz to rate "journalism" sites and identify "pink slime" and disclose BASIC journalism practices... It's not that hard to tell, he said.

Who will cry when you die?
1/n

- live by choice rather than by chance, by design not by default.
- if you don't act on life, life has a habit of acting on you.
- bring more of yourself, find your calling and do stuff you are best at.
- #create postive #impact in surrounding

I started playing #guitar in college. Some of my friends back home played, so I thought I'd learn. It's been years since I kept up with it. With no job and an empty house, I had time. Plus, I could crank up my amp. Ava would have hated it. All the more reason to do it.
#vss365
Strumming a few chords or playing a riff through a loud amp usually makes me feel better. It's more of a distraction this time. My amp is a little old. Even a #ragpicker might pass on it. "If you're not going to play it, sell it," Ava nagged. Life always got in the way.

Or I got in the way. Not even ten years ago I kept getting sick all the time. Painful stomach cramps would radiate weakness throughout my body. I learned how to wash it away like healing #rainwater. That's when I really started to figure out who I was and what I could do.

Letā€™s talk about #contentmarketing.

We all know that content is king right? Have the right content and eventually you will be successful is something that I think a lot of people have taken to heart.

If you are a small to mid sized business owner the idea that you can just
#create amazing content that will drive more customers to your #business right off the bat, Is a pipe dream. It is a very easy trap to fall into and one that can become a killer of time and profit. I tend to reference @garyvee a lot in my recent tweets as he is kind of a wiz with
Content marketing online. He knows how and what drives engagement. He also has a #mediafirm backing up everything he produces, making it easier to release the various pieces of #content that is produced. If you are not in the media business, this really isnā€™t possible.

I have taken a break from evangelical conferences, both intentionally and unintentionally. And this has been necessary for me to be liberated and be creatively free. This may sound corny, but I thank God for the courage and space for discernment and clarity! #worship #comingsoon
For the first time since 2014 my voice doesnā€™t feel broken. I am writing songs again. Iā€™ve met some really cool ppl. Collabs with world renown musicians. Book deals and job offers. Letting go of the old/familiar has been the best thing!
I donā€™t need prestige or power. I donā€™t need to convince anyone or prove myself to anyone. This is so freeing! Creating is in my pores. And itā€™s in you too. ā¤ļø

Alright, some thoughts on @magicleap! Been waiting a long time and Iā€™m excited for others to get in, explore Magic Leap, and to understand the possibilities of a good mixed reality experience. #MagicLeap #MagicLeapOne
Packaging and materials are really nice. I was surprised at how easily everything came together out-of-the-box.
Setup was both simple and difficult at the same time - I wish I couldā€™ve entered all my credentials (Wi-Fi, username/password, etc.,) via the companion app and then used the companion app to pair with Lightwear to transfer (similar to Appleā€™s HomePod setup experience)
