Im thinking of doing a kickstarter or putting a donation button on my Etsy shop.
#CreativeFutureStudio is too new to apply for any of the corporate grants for Black businesses.

Which is DEFINITELY by design once I look at them closely. Most of these grants require:
- at least 1 employee
- at least a year in business (so no businesses that started due to COVID will qualify)
- Some kind of official documentation LLC, INC. (which costs money to obtain)

And before "financial literacy" twitter comes to my mentions, I have a radically different business model and goal than the ones you see on "build wealth" Instagram.
Im trying real hard to be more than that.

I have a usual ship time of 5-7 days. (REALLY trying to work that down to 3-5)
This time it ain't the post office. This one was all me.
I put them in a folder I don't check. YIKES.

After multiple calls and a post office visits, adjustments to shipping, and emails, and a search for a paper supplier, my Etsy shop is at inbox ZERO.
That means all orders are either shipped or in progress. I have nothing "new" in my rotation.

Running my own business is great. Wonderful. And right now, I am NOT complaining about no current orders. It took almost a month to fully process 150 orders. I have a much better system now, but it took alot of trial and error. #CreativeFutureStudio
Lissen. I know the viral pictures of hundreds of orders are enticing.
But this night I sent out 36 orders. And that was ALL that I could handle.
Thank you God for this. For enough.
And here's to me handling more to come.
