I had to let my mind settle a bit before I sat down to put these thoughts to paper. I'd be remiss if I didn't start out by saying thank you to the #Crew96 ownership for listening to the fans and for the commitment to a productive relationship with the @Nordecke going forward.
Equally I want to say thank you & that I'm grateful for all of my close friends on the @Nordecke board as well as the dozens of other members of my Crew family that helped navigate this problem and come out better in the end. I value you all & look forward to cheering beside you
As some of you may know The Crew is a big part of my social wellbeing as well as a shared passion between my daughter Kenadi and I. The thought of a name change was a very real emotional issue for myself and some of my closest friends.

Zardes's shot quality is the same, on average, as last season, but his conversion rate is through the roof. We think some of it is sustainable, though probably not all, since these numbers are just wacky (in a Zardes kind of way):

So what happened? Well, take a look at Zardes's shot maps from open play in 2019 and 2020. We've switched off the headers. It seems like he's taking a higher proportion of his shots from the left side. Could it be as simple as that?

The #Crew96 Supporter Summit is tonight. Believe this is the 7th (?) time Iâve emceed the event, and man have we been through some highs and lows. Being told in 2018 that there was realistically nothing we could do to save the team, obviously the lowest point. Turned out okay.
I remember one Supporter Summit when Robert Warzycha promised to sell his jacket (YES THAT JACKET) to me, which he never did. Broken promises, obviously. #Obviously
That was the year when Don Garber was actually in attendance. After I asked Bobby to sell me his jacket, Lamacchia asked Garber why they didnât make cool shit for us. Don said, well because you donât buy it. Chris is like, thatâs because it doesnât exist. Checkmate.
After enduring a lot of sugar induced hangovers, expensive bar tabs and Excel nightmares, I have now officially tried enough spiked seltzerâs to pair them with every MLS team. Obviously this is very important information and the thread will begin once the EmergeC kicks in...
