The lack of transparency from @usacurl about their internal investigation (such as who conducted it and when, witnesses they reached out to, the timeframe it took place, etc.), without saying when further details might be forthcoming, is deeply concerning to us at Windy City. /🧵
As news of Jeff Plush came to light, Windy City Curling's Board of Directors has been in constant talks about how to proceed as information and/or allegations came out seemingly every day. They were all framed within our top priority: Support the women who curl on our ice.
We consider fostering a welcoming environment for all curlers absolutely paramount to the success of our club, and we know "blanket catch-all" statements are empty platitudes. Focus must be given to players who are historically underrepresented in the sport of curling.

(2/8) For over 200 years, since Chamonix 1924, granite from the island of Ailsa Craig has been producing the stones supplied to the Olympic Winter Games.
