Please help this NGO financially. Every rupee matters.

Last year I came to know about the twin-sisters massively affected by the double whammy of COVID and #CycloneAmphan . I reached the spot when lockdown restrictions lifted slightly, and covered the story of the village for @GaonConnectionE :

en.gaonconnection.com/they-migrated-… .
The people who have been the backbone of support to the affected families were themselves badly hit financially. But they carried on, with help from different quarters. They channeled their efforts over the months and listed their newly-formed organisation as an NGO.

#CycloneAmphan cracked Sundarban's lifelines: embankments. Why are these vital? Thread 👇Maybe we need to be more imaginative in how these lifelines and lives on the peripheries are reconstructed @moefcc @MamataOfficial @MahuaMoitra @India4Climate @UNEP @WWFINDIA @SanctuaryAsia
This is a photo I took in 2017 when the concrete embankments post #CycloneAila had just been constructed. The #Embankment Reconstruction Project was allocated a whopping Rs 5,032 crore/ GBP 562 million funded by @WorldBank to build cement and block walls @sayantanbera
After #AmphanSuperCyclone, several of these concrete embankments, 5 meters high and 30-40 meters wide, concretising 35,000 km peripheries of #Sundarbans
have collapsed, broken, and in many places have taken massive chunks of the riverbed down with them @GhoshAmitav

Dear @Openthemag, I have a story for you. Your owner Sanjiv Goenka's CESC, which supplies power to Kolkata, hasn't managed to restore electricity to swathes of the city post #CycloneAmphan after more than 4 days. The much-maligned West Bengal state supply board, whom I criticised
myself the day after the cyclone, has restored power to the parts of the city it serves by Friday. I can give you all the help on the ground. Free of cost, considering the #Covid19 economy. The CM herself has gone to CESC to ask Mr Goenka to do what it takes. Let me know?
From individual complaints here, I understand CESC is not responding to calls. @Openthemag is pretty fiery on Mamata Banerjee. Will you also be critical of a private entity which charges the highest rate of power per residential unit, but is scared to take calls?

#CycloneAmphaan hit India’s east coast more than 60 hours back and Kolkata is still without electricity, water supply, broadband. Phone networks are patchy. The death toll till now is 80. Videos & pics follow. Thread.
This is the first video @abhirup_chdhry sent me. His experience is bone chilling to listen to. This video is from 20th May, 4.30pm in Kolkata. In front is the Kolkata Airport. Otherwise brightly lit, but hidden by the wind. This was just the start.
He told me the cyclone lasted till about 9.30pm and in those 5 hours it seemed as if nothing will survive. His house is on the fourth floor and water was coming in through doors and A/C vents.

Migrants not been able to send remittances for the past two months, several haven't returned, others will not be able to find work outside due to the lockdown to rebuild their lives. In the villages, roads have completely caved in; sweet water ponds have submerged.
Even the concrete so called “modern” embankments made up of cinder and cement have cracked, been swallowed by the hungry tide @GhoshAmitav & paddy fields and ponds are submerged with saline water. Fresh water fish have died. It will take 2-3 years before agriculture can resume.
