CIMAR Director Dr. Helen Boucher (@hboucher3) is in Washington today to testify to the House Committee on Oversight and Reform Subcommittee on National Security on “U.S. Biodefense, Preparedness, and Implications of #AntimicrobialResistance for National Security.” #AMR #DISARM
Per their website, “The Subcommittee will evaluate the readiness of the US government and healthcare system, including hospitals and emergency professionals, to respond to naturally-occurring pandemics and biological attacks that could be perpetrated by state & non-state actors.”
