Today, we commemorate the terrible tragedy that took place along the Danforth two years ago. Our city and the Danforth community continues to heal, mourn, and remember the lives that were lost. I know that together we remain #DanforthStrong.

Last year, 2 trees were planted in the northeast corner of Withrow Park in memory of Reese Fallon and Julianna Kozis. While residents may visit Withrow Park throughout the day to lay flowers at the trees, I encourage everyone to continue to follow important public health advice.
The families and friends who came together today to call for safer gun control all showed incredible courage. Out of the terrible tragedy on the Danforth, this is important leadership. #DanforthStrong 
I know this must have been especially hard for Noor and Quinn, with all that they have gone through and lost, and they both showed great poise. Very proud of their advocacy.
