#Ukraine's strikes against #Russia's positions & bases continue in the south.

News just in: Ukraine's destroyed a makeshift pontoon bridge at #Darivka in #Kherson oblast. The invaders were trying to replace the bridge over the Inhulets river.

1/ so apparently yesterday There were 12 directions (not 4 like a lot of people rushed to claims) of the offensive of the Armed Forces. Four of them were successful (but i don't know more this morning). but then the Ru stopped them in lots of areas. no major "retreat" at all.

2/ The offensive will continue for exactly two or three days. (so one more time not an "indefinite" ongoing action.
of course contrary to Ru claims there were not any huge losses (in the directions reported by trustee Ukr soldiers). lots of wound for sure. it was an attack..

It seems to have been a little quieter overnight than in previous days, but of course the regular hotspots on, or near, the front line have been hit including #Kharkiv and #Mykolaiv, more on that shortly in the thread.

Update on #Darivka. @OAlexanderDK noticed that much of the imagery showed vehicles on or near the damaged bridge. It appears that small civilian vehicles have been using the bridge, despite the damage, while larger vehicles are using the pontoon bridge. 1/

Additionally, while comparing 27 and 30 June imagery we discovered a possible Russian military post located in a building in the village, based on visiting military vehicles and a tent set up behind the building at 46.7468, 32.8034 in #Darivka.

Since the bridge is still passable - will Ukrainian forces continue attempts to disable it? Will they strike at the pontoon that gets parked in the exact same spot over and over again? 🤔

I have to start with news of yet more missiles landing in #Mykolaiv this morning.

Two separate attacks yesterday destroying universities and homes in #Nikolaev, and two people were injured.

Now a fresh Russian raid with 5 powerful explosions reported.

Mayor of #Mykolaiv Oleksandr Sienkovych has not released further details yet about this morning's damage or any casualties. Rescue services are on site.
