#LeveldDesign Tests!

When applying for a level design job there is often a test so the company can get a clear idea of your abilities. If you aren't expecting this it can be a bit scary so I have made a mock test and broken it down :)

This is an example of a level design test. Once you learn the template you can start to imagine what kind of tests different kinds of studios might ask you to complete. There is definitely a pattern (at least in my experience)

This is an example test submission that I have done to demonstrate some useful presentation tips to make sure your ideas come across clearly to the dev team. I have annotated the test with a bunch of tips too.

This breakdown is just off the top of my head, some of these gripes may have already been addressed. Also, I've been out of the VRArt game for a bit, so I haven't tried newer #AnimVR, @masterpieceVR, etc...
@GravitySketch @OculusMedium @tiltbrush @masterpieceVR Firstly, GS is one of my go-tos, and I <3 <3 <3 the new SubD tools! I look at the stuff coming out of @mediamolecule's #DreamsPS4 and get super hyped. Once they get VR support added, that'll be amazing! I'd love to see a PC/Mac port of that some day!

if you know me, you know I've been working for years on a megaproject called #DreamsPS4, that just came out (you should buy it, it's great!)
to keep myself sane, back in 2018, I decided to take up a hobby, namely, building (eurorack) synthesisers from scratch. Things quickly escalated from buying a single premade synth & rack (the minibrute 2 + rackbrute, since you ask), to building befaco DIY modules (hexmix...)
