Das Ergebnis: Insgesamt wird klar, dass intensive, traumafokussierte Psychotherapie für Patient:innen schnell, sicher, effektiv und, falls erwünscht, über moderne technische Kommunikationsmittel durchführbar ist. 🥳 3/

El problema con el EMDR es bastante simple de explicar con una analogía. Imagina que te propongo un tratamiento para eliminar los dolores de cabeza y lo llamo "Reducción de Cefaleas por Estimulación Bilateral"® o RCEB® (el ® es importante).
Mi método ® consiste en que, ante cefaleas, te tomas una aspirina mientras yo te toco alternativamente las distintas partes de ambos lados del cuerpo o te hago seguir con los ojos una varita o mi dedo, bajo la excusa de que tu dolor de cabeza se codificó en un lado en concreto >

One of my parents be cyber stalking me BUT has not talked me in 6 years... like, why so obsessed with me?

De façon répétée. Tauma par procuration, donc. A différencier du #Burnout et de #épuisementprofessionnel. Le PtV n'étant pas une surcharge de travail (quantitative) mais l'impact psychotraumatique spécifique de ce travail (phénoméno). Bien que l'épuisement pro soit un FDR. 3/18

Als Pädagogin kann ich die @ARDde Doku aus eigener Erfahrung 100 % bestätigen!
In unserer KJH Einrichtung wurden Kinder ab 3 (!) JAHREN mit #Dipiperon bzw. #Pipamperon „behandelt“ & jedes bekam diese #Narzissmus Diagnose!
Das lokale #Jugendamt wusste jeweils Bescheid.

Wir Mitarbeiter/-innen sahen Winterhoffs Vorgehen kritisch, da jedes neue Kind, das in die Einrichtung kam, mit #Dipiperon / #Pipamperon behandelt wurde.
Es gab nur 1 Gespräch pro Quartal. Anpassung der Medikation per Telefon. Keine Psychotherapie. Keine Traumatherapie.

Sundays are devoted to free therapy for HCWs and COVID Grief. Was using #emdr with a young Health Care Worker posted to the #COVID ward during the #secondwave. During this time one of the deceased’s relatives, in a grief-stricken state, had attacked the HCW and beaten her
She faced and witnessed several more such attacks against her and other staff. As the intense pressure of the COVID wards eased by June, she experienced PTSD symptoms and found it increasingly difficult to go back to the COVID wards.
She felt unsafe in the PPE kit due to reduced visibility and felt she might be attacked from behind. She had nightmares, palpitations and intense fear, but continued to work due to the demand.
If you want to start a profitable side project, I urge you to find a good niche. This week my project @cloudemdr got featured in the most niche magazine ever.
It is a tool for psychotherapists to conduct a certain type of treatment (#EMDR) online. This is really important during COVID-19. The tool is helping 1000s of people every week and it also makes some money (most features are free, for accessibility reasons).
If you know exactly who you're building something for, you know who to ask for feedback. My mom is a psychotherapist, so she tested the first versions. When that worked, I asked some people through Linkedin. When they were sharing it without asking, I knew I was onto something...

I told her about playing D&D with my wife and son, and how my character is named "Mohr Khowbell."

I told her about playing D&D with my wife and son, and how my character is named "Mohr Khowbell."
In the midst of what is normally a very tender and focused moment centered on my healing, she had to pause everything she was doing because she couldn’t stop laughing.
Folks, I consider that a win.
