Constitution? Article 368 says that under the power of amendment, addition, variation and deletion can be made. Addition can be made to the already existing social principle, which is already accepted by the SC. There is no variation, as this (Economic) is a new principle.

There is no deletion as well.The SC itself says that social,economic reservation are different.Since these two are different,the principle of social reservation,which is the basic structure of the Constitution,has been amended and put to rest by introducing this new principle
