Last year, on #EidAlAdha I was in Kashmir, days after articleY 370 was abrogated and Kashmir caged. It was a sombre, heavy hearted Eid, where only babies were dressed up & no one was festive. Today, my heart and thoughts are with the people of Kashmir. #EidMubarak
My heart is also with Khalid, Ishrat, Dr Kafeel Khan, Shifa ur Rehman and so many other innocents who are behind bars because the regime fears their brave & honest hearts. #EidAdhaMubarak
I also think about the families of all the Muslims lynched or otherwise killed by Hindu supremacist mobs backed by India's ruling regime. #EidAlAdha #EidMubarak #EidAdhaMubarak #EidAladha2020
