Crux of #ElectionResults2019:
1) Maharashtra: Congress which ruled the state for 15 years straight (1999-2014) has been reduced to fourth position. BJP, which was junior to even SS before 2014, now undisputed largest party. Being voted back to power is not small feat. 1/5
Crux of #ElectionResults2019:
2) Haryana: BJP was never considered a viable party before 2014. After 5 years in office it is again the largest party. Congress, having ruled the state for 10 years straight (2004-14), is now gasping, desperately seeking turncoats etc. 2/5
Crux of #ElectionResults2019:
3) Haryana: Governance culture that Congress gave the state - rampant black money in real estate; debilitating caste politics. BJP put a full stop to all this. This must have hurt vested interests. Yet, BJP is again emerging as LARGEST PARTY. 3/5

#DMKAlliance win in #TamiNadu is staggering on many accounts. Out of 38 seats went for polls #DMK and alliance partners won 37 seats. A look at winning margins
5 to 6 Lakh = 2 seats
4 to 5 Lakh = 4 seats
3 to 4 L= 8 seats
2 to 3 L= 9 seats
1 to 2 L= 11 seats
0 to 1 L = 3 seats
#TamilNadu Biggest victory margin in seats where #DMK was in contest against #PMK. #Sriperumbudur and #Dindugal.... DMK won both seats by a margin of more than 5 lakh votes. Interestingly in both seats PMK saved their deposits... #TNRejectsBJP #ElectionResults2019

Elections done and dusted, next 5 years will tell about the peoples verdict. People who are happy with the outcome many congratulations
people who are angry, shocked with the result all I got to say is engage in discussions rather than just spew hate, only few people I spoke to had some argument for not supporting modi, even those few didn't have much reason to support rahul or Congress.
Don't be blind in your hate towards BJP, introspect on your views, find validity in the sources, and then project your views. By hating bjp, you have given power to DMK which is a scary sign. Even not in power we all saw numerous incidents of their vandalism

Let me say how BJP losing Kaniyakumari in this thread.

Kaniyakumari constituency revolves around 2 issues:

1) Religion
2) Proposed harbor at Kovalam under Sagarmala project

Christians voting based on religion.

Christian voters irrespective of whether they wants harbor or not, they are voting for Congress.

Hindus gave more preference to Harbor than religious interests.

Hindus supporting harbor voted for BJP.

Hindus against harbor voted against BJP.

(Cont..)
Christian votes are consolidated based on religion.

Hindus votes are divided because of the harbor.

Although some Christians believed that harbor is good for the district and economy, they didn't vote for BJP.
