I’m really angry. Not at Datti’s ridiculous comments; but at the ludicrous defence people are putting up

Go watch the full ducking interview. It’s even worse. Didn’t we agree that #EndSARS was our red line?

This is how I responded this morning to Wike’s endorsement of Sanwo-Olu
How did Datt respond?

By asking youths why they chose to protest SARS when there were more pressing issues like a falling Naira.

By saying there must be hidden political motives & actors he will one day uncover.

By playing semantic games over the murder of young Nigerians. twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
To come on TV to say this today, of all days, even as youths were being tear-gassed in Lagos is wild to me.

I still can’t talk about that night without getting emotional; and some fucker is coming to ask why young people chose to protest against police brutality?

I dey go sleep

Two years later and Nothing has changed. Reminds me of the writings in the book "Boundless 2021". #EndSARSMemorial2

A THREAD
Our streets are tarred with Candle wax and littered with a number of half burnt candles, left at the mercy of the night wind

Howling and Rambling like the voice of protesters, like the lament of a mother as she's been taken away from the log of her child's body...
Like the silent screams of innocent bodies emptied into the river behind Awkuzu SARS.

These candles burnt for the dreams stopped halfway and configured into nightmares, for beds lying empty in cold rooms, for clothes suffered in sacs begging for the warmth of their own body.

1. It was a faithful night at the Lekki Tollgate in Lagos, with conditions that were ripe for disaster. A tragedy that shocked the World. On that penultimate night of the peaceful demonstrative rallies, a Twitter user twitted that the Army were on their way to the tollgate,
2. but innocent Nigerian youths maintained their positions. Armed with just placards & our loud voices, singing the National Anthem at the top of our lungs, we thought that those were symbolic, & they would save us. WE WERE WRONG! This is a very Sad Nigerian Haunting Story.. 💔😭
3. Overwhelmed by pent-up anger & bursting from the inside to be heard, we never imagined that the Armed Forces who are meant to protect us, were out for blood. At around 7:45 PM on 20.10.2020, our comrades stationed on the lookout, spotted the Nigerian Army directly ahead.

If #SanwoEko deployed as much police officers as he did to the #EndSARSMemorial , we would have had more survivors of that building collapse. The fact that nothing will come out of this is disheartening but hey! This is Nigeria. Even the one that was sacked will be compensated.
When it comes to buildings in lagos, just have money to sort the right people. Even if It was a 5 storey that was approved and you enact a 15 storey, just sort them. No be Naija again
And they never accept transfers, strictly cash, just go to their offices, they hardly touch their salary, everyday is payout day for these lots. Lagos is unreal, same with Nigeria

1. There are no angels & saints in leadership in Nigeria. Only lesser devils. There are no coincidences. Everything’s been prearranged. All you see around you in 9ja, is designed. Events of 20.10.2020 is no different.

#OccupyLekkiTollGate #EndSARSMemorial #LekkiMassacre #EndSARS
2. From the ‘Asaba Massacre’ & the ‘Biafra Genocide’ by Gowon’s forces, to the killing of the Shiites in Zaria, down to the most insane, violent & chaotic suppression of the #EndSARS protests. Nigeria is a huge crime scene, the political & tribal mafia reign supreme.
3. You just have to manage your expectations. It’s easy to commit Genocides in Africa & go scot-free. Value for life in Africa, especially in mother country Nigeria, is ZERO!!

As we observe the #ENDSARSMEMORIAL Today in honor of our fallen heroes, it’s important we note the following;

1.Ambassador Coomasie first suggested the use of the Military to the president; against peaceful protesters and he did.
2.Seyi Tinubu and Co, removed the cameras prior to the massacre.

3.NAMA and NCAA refused to allow people private Helicopters beam lights on the #LekkiProtest.

4.MTN shut down mobile networks around Lekki and Ikoyi.
5.Oriental hotel shut their gates against the peaceful protesters fleeing for safety, from the military.

6.Channels TV and TVC took turns in reporting fake news to discredit the #EndSars protest.

The officers stopped us. They asked us where we were coming from. We told them we were just coming from a Ball Viewing centre. They requested to see Our phones. Kenneth asked them "Why"? The officer questioning us gave him a deadly look. Before i could blink an eye,
a slap landed on his face. The officer questioning us asked him to Shut up..
I quickly gave him my phone to avoid more problems.. He went through my phone , after few minutes he returned it back.. He then asked kenneth for his phone.
Kenneth refused
saying he has to know why he must give him his phone.. What was he looking for in his phone.. And besides a police man has no business and right perusing through a civilian's phone..
An Argument started.. I begged kenneth to please give them the phone so that we can leave

Tomorrow is 20th October, the 1st year anniversary of our brothers and sisters murdered during the #EndSARS protest and that should be our no 1 priority but no , it's how Tiwa should not have made a sex tape. I feel for the generation to come cause everything is now cruise.

Tomorrow, you will cry wolf when Tinubu becomes president come 2023.
Whilst you are on here ripping each other apart, the government is strategizing .. suddenly #Sanwoolu has a sense of humour and wants to throw a concert.
They understand our weaknesses...
Suddenly, Influencers are busy laying in bed with the same government. Nigeria might not get better anytime soon but we must take the first step. The water that breaks through rocks was a story of perseverance.
