If Biden had lost, wld we still be content taking Krebs’ “word” that the election was secure? It’s great that Krebs got fired by Trump & all, but not a sufficient basis on which to bet our entire future. Comey got fired too. Both = Rs. Neither transparent.

It really is. Election security experts have warned about this very type of policy 4 years. Even secure elections cannot protect our democracy if officials are unable or unwilling to PROVE to the PUBLIC that they are secure. We need #EvidenceBasedElections, not one man’s word. 1/

TFG had no evidence that Trump won or that Biden lost. But to dissuade GOP voters of the Big Lie, we needed evidence-based elections. No matter what Krebs said, we did not have them. Even if elections are secure, officials must be able to prove it. I & others warned about this.
