What do I mean? Well the #OW Act of 1997 defines ‘assistance’ as “life stabilization assistance and basic financial assistance” - no matter how you look at it, stabilization =/= thriving, living, equitable. It’s an interim fix to a structural failure.
The 74th World Health Assembly approved the WHO resolution on global disability action plan 2014–2021 for better health for all people with #disability.

Today's #WHA74 resolution on health for people living with disabilities aims to make the health sector more inclusive by tackling the significant barriers many people with disabilities face when they try to access health services.
1/ When schools first closed I realised my 5yo would need to wear an #eyepatch at home on weekdays for 2 hours each day. I was already bored and quickly scribbled something resembling @CaptainAmerica shield on the 1st one. Thus began the Daily Superhero Eyepatch Challenge!
