Muss mal kurz Dampf ablassen!

Gesicht an.

Anderen sieht man äußerlich nichts an.

What is FASD? 🤔The NHS information page on the condition is a great place to start:

If you are looking for more indepth infomation about what its like for people living with #FASD we have @FasdhubScotland and @NationalFASD in the UK
As a research team we approach FASD as an important public health issue because, although people with FASD can lead happy fulfilled lives with the right support, the condition it is astoundingly 1) underrecognised 2) underdiagnosed 3) undersupported despite being relatively ...
common in the general population. People living with #FASD are more likely to struggle to 1) work 2) maintain relationships 3) parent 4) avoid involvement with the criminal justice system and are more likely have health issues (physical + mental). You can find out more about..

June is #OralHealthMonth.
Oral health's important but don't push #fluoridation.
It saves maybe 1 dental cavity after many years adding extra #fluoride to drinking water.
The evidence of harm from this practice is now overwhelming.
Post a study-I'll start
#IsSaving1CavityWorth.
Can #fluoridation be fatal?
It sure can be.
A study recently published showed increased fluoride in drinking water increased hip fractures in post-menopausal older women.

Can #fluoridation be fatal?
Yup. Here's another example. A fluoridation overfeed accident killed a truck driver in Ontario Canada involved in a pile up on the highway when he was doused in fluoridation chemical.

#Genderdysphoria & FASD short thread 🧵 #FASD is a brain-based disability, caused by alcohol. It is known as Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. It is a ‘Spectrum’ & often not visible physically. It often co-exists with #autism #adhd #aspergers #LD & remains largely under diagnosed
In #Australia, alcohol is part of the culture & part of life. It is a BIG problem. Mothers are cautioned largely not to drink & the fathers role is largely ignored, not realising their own addictions affect the foetus. Many children & teens have FASD Spectrum & they don’t know it
Nor do their parents. If the parents do know, there can be much guilt, denial, shame & lack of support. Many children with FASD are underdiagnosed or MISdiagnosed. There are a group of children/ teens with #FASD & #genderdysphoria (with or without #autism) #psychology
