When people say, this running back has receiving upside, and that one doesn't.

What does that mean to me?

People say I'm low on Nick Chubb. I projected out his 2020 workload for 17 games and:

275 carries. 1,400 yards. 14 TDs. 25 catches. 200 receiving yards. 0 Rec TDs. 4 Fumbles. 261 fantasy points.

That seems good, however I can see a lot of other backs passing that up.
Here's what I think of DeAndre Swift, getting used like Alvin Kamara/Austin Ekeler:

200 carries. 1,000 rushing yards. 10 Rush TDs. 65 catches. 500 receiving yards. 4 receiving TDs. 4 Fumbles. 291 fantasy points.

30 more points than Chubb. More catches, and more receiving yards

Derrick Henry is a very good running back who is getting drafted No. 3 overall in most PPR drafts.

That is way too high.

A thread by @JakesFFootball

#FantasyFootball #football #nfl #NFLTwitter #fantasyfootballadvice
Derrick Henry is coming off of a 2,000+ yard season. That's a huge season and will likely stand as the best season of his career. Why? Let's take a look at every other previous 2,000 yards rusher and what the season after their 2,000 yard season looked like.
1973 O.J. Simpson. 2,003 Yards. - in 14 games.

1974 O.J. Simpson. 1,125 Yards.

Not much changed for Simpson from one year to the next, he wasn't as efficient and didn't get as many carries. The few years after he did well again though.

According to @SleeperHQ, the last season in which a Ravens player surpassed 100 targets was 2016

Dennis Pitta: 121
Mike Wallace: 116
Steve Smith: 101

Greg Roman got back to Baltimore in 2017, ascending to OC in 2019

#nfl #fantasyfootball #nfltt
Michael Crabtree (2018) and Marquise Brown (2020) were the ones since 2017 who reached exact 100 targets in the period for Baltimore
Ravens' players with most targets since 2011:

2020 receptions by yardage range, a thread:
.@SleeperHQ is my favorite platform not only for playing #fantasyfootball, but also for researching. So let's take a look at those charts.
Ben Roethlisberger took Alex Smith's place as the league's Tyrannosaurus (you know, that short-armed dinossaur). We're used to see those passes going to RBs, but the Steelers passed a lot to guys in short routes. Oh, and our former dinossaur, Smith, also helped WFT to be up there

🚨30 Days, 30 Prospects🚨

#12 - Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama

Everyone is looking for the next Tyreek Hill... fact is nobody is Tyreek, but Waddle is an incredible playmaker in his own right. More than just a speedster, Waddle shows off why he can play ball at the next level.⬇️
Waddle is truly a weapon that keeps defenses honest. The entire first half he's running this crossing route, now in the 3rd quarter he goes to run the crosser but turns it up field as soon as the safety bites. He creates so much separation and it's an easy jog for a score.
Even though Waddle is great at creating separation, he doesn't always need it. He's not a guy that only wins on speed, he can hold his own up in the air. Here he makes the hard catch in double coverage down the field, leaping into contact while taking full strides.

#13 - Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue

5' 7" and only 181 pounds, but can squat 600lbs. That about sums it up. Moore has impressed since the moment he stepped on the college field, will that success translate to the NFL? ⬇️
His first career touchdown, Moore is more than a gadget player, he's a WR. He runs a nice crossing route here into open space and catches the ball in a hard spot. His hands look good here & overall, though he does have some concentration drops where he moves too quick.
One of the most electric playmakers to get on the field, Moore is always a threat to take a play to the house. Used often on sweeps and screens, the Purdue offense centered around getting Moore the ball. He can outrun just about anybody on the defense.

🤔If someone has asked me whether I would have been writing a thread on West Ham defense mid-way through the last season, I would have laughed at them.

🙌Change in inevitable. Adapt, Improvise and Overcome😅. That's what this game is all about.
📈West Ham defense This season vs last season:

Alright, I have watched every game from Week 1.

These are my quick thoughts from each game... 👇

#FantasyFootball #NFL

- O'Brien is the worst

- DJ has BURST

- Duke should never be played in fantasy

- Fuller tgted all over field

- CEH is the real deal. Best looking RUNNER out of this RB class in Week 1. That might be his floor game - SCARY!

- Watkins is going to fool us all again

- On most plays, Monty looked like '19 Monty

- Trubisky looked bad until the last few mins of the game

- Miller needs more tgts

- Kerryon is not a good runner

- AP will be the lead RB as long as he stays healthy

- No Golladay = Problem for DET offense

- Hock 👍

#Consistency #FantasyFootball #HalfPPR
A third of the 2019 were above average consistency-wise. That means (again) that you can wait for them in your draft (@LateRoundQB) or stream weekly.

Note: If I can get Dak on the cheap, fine. Image
If you got an early pick, please secure your stud RB and don't waste that capital. Once you have a solid starter, you have one less problem week-to-week.

Note: don't sleep on Kenyan Drake, guys. Image

Alright, here's the final graph to guide you on building stacks in #fantasyfootball this season. This shows QB ADP (indicated by team logo) relative to each of his pass-catching options (both WRs and TEs). The next tweet has some observations on what's being shown here.
-The gap between Goff and Kupp/Woods/Higbee is far too wide. Goff is a great late-round QB sleeper.
-Jackson & Watson are the only 2 QBs on here that are going ahead all of their pass-catching options. Speaks to how much people expect they'll either run the ball or spread it out.
-Minshew only has ONE pass catcher (Chark) that's being drafted. Surprising with how much we expect Jacksonville to be throwing this season.
-It'll be tough to stack Wilson and one of his WRs (Lockett/Metcalf) - you'll likely have to reach on one of the WRs.

So, LOTS of tight-end news this week! I thought I'd take the opportunity to share some research that helped me understand the position and how it translates to #FantasyFootball. (1/8)

Here's the article I created the data sets for if you're curious:…
The stereotypical dichotomy is the big slot vs. the 3rd-tackle. A look at snap % that a TE plays scratches the surface of understanding. Eric Ebron and Hunter Henry line up in the slot most of the time. At the opposite end of the spectrum? Tyler Higbee & Vance McDonald 🤨 (2/8)
Tight ends' average depth of target peels back another flap of the black box. The big slots stay high in the numbers. Down the list, ADOT better indicates utilization in the pass game.

A clearer dichotomy of fantasy-relevant TEs emerges: the big slot and the YAC monster. (3/8)

There are THREE Second Year WRs that will need a good chunk of extra targets - JUST TO GET BACK TO the receiving yards that they produced in 2019.

Deebo Samuel
AJ Brown
Mecole Hardman

Stick with me here, I am about to throw a lot of math at you...
Yards after Catch/Reception - (YAC/REC)

Hardman - 11.5
AJ Brown - 8.9
Deebo - 8.5

This is not AT ALL sustainable.

Some players are just VERY GOOD at YAC - but I am sorry, not THIS GOOD.
Considering draft capital, people are expecting 100+ targets for AJB & Deebo (not so much Hardman) in 2020.

I went through all WRs with 100+ tgts over the last 3 seasons & averaged out the YAC/REC for the TOP 10 WRs in this category.

2017 = 5.21
2018 = 5.52
2019 = 5.30
