@AttorneyFren I concur with some of the other posters in the comments as I to am confused because the girl on the left does not really have a butter face she’s actually kind of cute with a button nose and doe eyes while the girl on the right has a body that’s at the absolute upper end of Thick
@AttorneyFren Purely for health and longevity reasons the girl on the right should lose at least 15-20 pounds and should strive to attain the figure on the left. #FatAcceptance is ludicrous but in this case girl on right is still absolutely fuckable with a big ass, thick thighs…
@AttorneyFren Thick thighs that save lives, and likely larger breasts to the higher body fat percentage. She’s definitely overweight and may even be pushing the boundary layer for Obese Level 1 for females of her height, skeletal bone frame size, and age. That being said I’d love a 3some…

One reason the "do diets work?" debate interests me is because so many things that are terrible for fat people (and others) rests on that foundational belief that fat people could stop being fat if they wanted to.

(Definitions: By "work," I mean that a typical fat person will be able to follow the plan and become sustainably non-fat.

By "weight-loss plan" or "weight-loss diet," I mean any plan for losing weight that depends on controlling what's eaten. This includes "lifestyle changes.")

Thread: The limitations & fundamental problems w/ #bodypositivity rest in it's manner of dealing with POWER, in 3 fundamental ways: 1) where it places personal responsibility, 2) how it centers those already in cultural power, 3) off whom it profits #fatacceptance #fatliberation
1) PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY: Body positivity places the burden of its mission--being positive about bodies--on individuals. This becomes about managing emotions that affect us rather than dealing w/ the expectations and inequalities that affect our bodies & are out of our control.
Fat liberation address the underlying issues of structural injustice against non-conforming bodies AND makes room for people to express all types of emotions about their bodies and treatment thereof.

Fat girl thread. CW: dieting

Sometimes I don’t realize I’m hungry until I’m already pretty in need of food. I tend to go from “I could eat” to “If I don’t eat something right now I will stab you” in less than ten minutes. Today I realized one reason why I’m like this.
I spent most of my teens and twenties with an eating disorder, going from fad diet to fad diet, with diet pills, starvation & excessive exercise thrown in. I spent years teaching myself to IGNORE the signs of hunger, to turn it into white noise.
Now, when I want to treat my body with kindness, I am re-learning how to recognize signs of hunger, to listen to my body, in a way that dieting habits have discouraged in me.
