Okay friends: when D&D protected Mearls who passed on info about sexual harassment, you got a little angry, said #FireMikeMearls and a few days of radio silence later, everything was back to normal.

And then D&D was super racist in its hiring and firing and stealing ideas from minority creators, and we all got angry, and a few days of radio silence later, everything was back to normal.

And then D&D released Rime of the Frostmaiden and that was super misogynist? And a few days of radio silence later, everything was back to normal.

TLDR #FireMikeMearls.
Content warning: sexual assault

when I first got into #ttrpg it was through DND5E. A player at that table was. An utter loser. Constantly using the game to live out their gross fantasies even with a survivor of abuse at the table. I left that group ASAP
And now. With wizards still having an enabler of sexual assault on staff. It’s impossible to stand by. My awesome group grew together through DND, but we don’t owe that to wizards of the coast. #DnD is a vibrant and amazing community with a ton of small creators! Who need support
(Thanks to @Robo_EP for mentioning so). So. In response while we’re not leaving DnD as a game we tell our story in. We do want to speak out against abuse enablers. We’re working to get involved with fundraisers and such to make sure victims get any kind of help.
